Terms of Service



By signing up for training ("training services" or "services" or "training classes"), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Everyone coming to our facility ("the Ranch") for services needs to have an account in Gingr, our scheduling software. Everyone needs to have signed the customer agreement.

All dogs that come to the Ranch for training services, need to be up to date on age appropriate vaccines and have proof of a negative fecal exam. Results will be entered in your Gingr account. All dogs must be up to date on their DHPP, leptospirosis, Bordetella, canine influenza and rabies vaccines. Dogs seven months and older need to be spayed or neutered. For the Bordetella, we prefer the intranasal vaccine which puppies can receive as early as 3 weeks of age. Puppies can receive the initial canine influenza vaccine as early as seven weeks, followed by a booster 2 to 4 weeks later.

Everyone signing up for our training services will need to fill out our training questionnaire (which is in your Gingr on your dog profile page) as accurately and truthfully as possible, so we can set you up with the right training plan.

Full payment is due before anyone can attend our training classes or before we do any private training. You can make payment through your Gingr account or by phone. Our 48-hour cancellation period allows customers to get a refund (minus a $10 administration fee) 48 hours before the start of the training. After the 48-hour cancellation period but before classes start, there is a 50% refund (minus a $10 administration fee). No refunds will be given once classes start. No shows hold up a space that could have been filled by someone else. Classes start on time. Please don't be late as that would interrupt the class. You are not allowed to join the class if you arrive after the class has started. Please dress appropriately, dogs can accidentally step on your feet so please wear closed shoes. Dogs might also have sharp nails so we recommend wearing jeans or something substantial enough to protect you.

For our group classes, dogs must be on a regular, 6 ft. flat leash. Retractable leashes are not allowed. Dogs can either be on a regular flat collar, a harness or a head halter. No choke or pinch collars are permitted. Dogs have to enter the facility on a leash. At the start of each class, there is a socialization period, where dogs are off leash. After that, the dogs will be placed back on their leashes, to keep them from interrupting the work of other training teams. Owners must be mindful of their dog's behavior. We expect proper leash etiquette, such as not approaching another dog on a leash without asking permission to do so.

Classes and private training classes are generally 50 minutes, unless otherwise indicated, like our leash walking clinic and our target training clinic.

Our Standard Operating Procedure states that there will be no refunds once the training starts. There are no exceptions to this Standard Operating Procedure. We reserve the right to change the schedule and pricing structure on any and all of our services.

We reserve the right to terminate the training agreement at any time before or during the term, if our trainer determines that a danger exists to the safety and wellbeing of the owner, the owner's dog, another dog, the trainer or the public. Please make sure you answer our training questionnaire accurately and truthfully, so we can prevent these situations as much as possible. If our trainer terminates the training agreement for this reason, prior to completion, all fees paid will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

For in home training, we do our very best to arrive on time. Please be ready to start the session and have everything ready. If we get slowed down because of traffic, it will not affect the length of the training session.
